He was the perfect, gentle soul to learn on
I learnt to ride and I learnt how to follow
These are the lessons of a lifetime to learn from

I had a friend who was brave and courageous
She had the spirit of a fine, warrior princess
She showed us how to be strong and be gracious
I know she taught us all the wisdom of patience

Who to follow

Long ago had I known lessons I know now.

When I was young I was drawn to the music
